One of the main perks of running an online business is the ability to plan your time according to your convenience. Business owners need to take a break from the business to rejuvenate themselves and get back with a fresh mind. But, leaving your business can be a worrisome thought, if you have not planned in advance. Listed below are some tips that can help you plan in advance and have a stress-free holiday.

Delegate responsibilities: If you have a staff or people who help you run the business, start delegating work to them in advance, so they know what needs to be done while you are away. They could help in confirming orders, packaging, scheduling pickups and returns etc. Amazon Seller App and Seller Central have a feature to give access to your staff, for a stipulated time. By doing this beforehand, you will be able to foresee any problems that may occur while you are away, and work accordingly.

Fulfill pending orders: If you run the business alone, it is important to process all the pending orders. Fulfill orders that are already placed, process returns and stop taking orders a couple of days before going off the grid, so as to not delay a customer’s delivery or returns.

Respond to customer messages: A good business is a reflection of its happy customers. As online businesses thrive on customer feedback, it is important to keep your customers informed about their orders and communicate delays if any. Additionally, you can respond to customer messages while on vacation with the Amazon Seller App.
