What is Amazon Global Selling?
Amazon’s Global Selling Program gives Indian MSMEs/ Entrepreneurs/ Retailers access to sell their products to the consumers worldwide through ecommerce.
How does Amazon Global Selling work?
Amazon Global Selling gives access to sell in 13 international marketplaces including America (US, Canada, Mexico), Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Turkey and UK), Middle East (UAE) and Asia-Pacific (Japan, Singapore and Australia).
Indian MSMEs, entrepreneurs and retailers can use this program to list and sell their products on Amazon’s international e-commerce sites such as www.amazon.com, www.amazon.co.uk, www.amazon.de, and www.amazon.ae etc. This enables them to showcase their products to customers across 180+ countries.
What products can I sell on Amazon international marketplaces?
All you have to do is:
• Select the product you want to sell
• Select the marketplace where you want to sell
• Register with Amazon Global Selling and showcase your products
• Ship your products to Amazon fulfillment centers through an Amazon Solution Provider Network partner

Amazon will assist you with:
• Storage of your products in state-of-the-art fulfillment centers
• Showcasing your product to customers who are searching for the same across the world
• Packing and delivering the product to the customer within 2 days from the date of order
• Payments are credited to seller’s bank account in INR or in International currencies as per their preference
What do I need to register as a seller on Amazon?
To register yourself as a seller in Amazon international marketplaces, you need
  • Email ID & Mobile Number
  • Valid Business Address
  • Credit Card and Company/ Individual Bank Statement
  • National ID proof
In addition to the above documents, you will also need VAT document for selling in Europe and Middle East. Amazon has a list of trusted third party service providers who can help you with getting the required documentation.
How can I start selling internationally?
All you have to do is
  • Select the product you want to sell
  • Select the marketplace where you want to sell
  • Register with Amazon Global Selling and showcase your products
  • Ship your products to Amazon fulfillment centers through an Amazon Solution Provider Network partner
Amazon will assist you with:

Please note - To register to sell in US, Europe, Japan and Australia on Amazon (professional selling plan), a subscription fees of USD 39.99 (US), EUR 25 (EU), JPY 4,900 and AUD 49.95 (AU) is charged. You will have to provide a valid international credit card to process the same.
I don’t have an Amazon India seller account. Can I still sell on other Amazon marketplaces?
Yes, you do not need an Amazon India seller account to sell globally. Simply register and create a seller account in the Amazon marketplace where you want to sell your products.
I am already selling on Amazon.in and have a Seller Central account. How can I sell globally with Amazon?
If you are already selling on Amazon.in and wish to sell globally, all you need to do is decide the country you want to sell in and simply follow the easy steps mentioned here.
How is Amazon facilitating payments?
Amazon ensures that the amount gets credited in your preferred bank account and in your selected currency (INR, USD, GBP, EUR, YEN, AED, etc.)
Logistics
What are the documents required to sell and ship globally?
You will need the following:
• IEC (Import Export code)
• AD (Authorized Dealer) code from bank
• KYC documents for yourself and your company
• Product specific documentation if your product requires additional documentation like FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certificate for health, beauty and grocery products, and CPC (Children’s Product Certificate) for toys.
I don’t have these documents. How can I get the documentation done for my company?
You can get in touch with our taxation and compliance service providers who would help you with what documentation you need for which marketplace as well as help you get this documentation done. Refer to the link of all documentation needed on the page, and you would find the service provider contact details. You can also refer to this link for the list of all service providers for all regulatory requirements.
How can I get Amazon partnered carriers for my logistics requirements for Amazon global marketplaces?
You can find the contact details of our partnered logistics providers as well as their service provider network link here, through which you can directly get in touch with them. They will guide you with the onboarding process, as well as ship your products directly to international customers, or to the Amazon warehouses.
I don't want to use Amazon partnered carriers to manage both my logistics to international customers and to international Amazon warehouses. Can I use my own carriers for the same?
You can use your own carriers to manage your logistics directly to international customers as well as to the Amazon warehouses.
Do I get shipment insurance with these carriers at Amazon negotiated rates?
Shipment insurance is not included in the Amazon negotiated rates. You can avail the shipment insurance directly from the carriers if you want to. They will guide with the process for the same.
I want to sell at marketplaces other than the mentioned ones i.e. Japan and Australia. Do you have Amazon partnered carriers for the same?
We currently don't have Amazon-partnered carriers and rate cards for shipping from India to Japan and Australia. However, you can get in touch with the partnered carriers, and avail their own rate card for shipping to Japan, Australia and other marketplaces not mentioned above. You can also get in touch with the service providers for taxation and compliance to understand the documentation requirements for these marketplaces
Managing your Account
How do I list my products on Amazon?
You can use our web-based interface to list products one at a time, or excel-based inventory files to list your products in bulk. The procedure and information required will vary depending on whether your products are already in the Amazon marketplace catalog.
Once you complete your registration for selling on Amazon, you will be guided on the steps to list your products. You can choose to avail the listing services from Service Provider Network as well.
How do I manage my international orders on Amazon?
You can view your orders and manage them through the “Manage Order” option available on Seller Central. If you are using Fulfilment by Amazon, your orders will be fulfilled and shipped by Amazon. If you choose to store and deliver your products on your own, you need to pack and ship products to the customers directly and inform them about the shipment through your Seller Central account.
